The University of Central Oklahoma's location in downtown Oklahoma City advances Central’s charge to serve the Oklahoma City metro through prepared graduates and innovative programs and partnerships that contribute to the area’s continued growth.

With two convenient locations, UCO at Carnegie Centre and UCO at Santa Fe Plaza, UCO gives students expanded class offerings that may be more conveniently located to their work or home.

The possibilities are exciting as the University of Central Oklahoma expands its reach as Oklahoma’s metropolitan university through the UCO downtown locations.

UCO at Santa Fe Plaza 

The UCO at Santa Fe Plaza learning center extends the university’s reach in the Oklahoma City metro, serving as home to the UCO MBA program along with other classes for other programs. The facility features classroom and lab space, increasing access for students working or living nearby and serve the growing population in downtown Oklahoma City. 

UCO at Santa Fe Plaza also houses Central’s small business incubator, LX Studio Business Incubator; KUCO-FM, UCO’s classical radio station; and, meeting space for the university and area businesses.

For the convenience of students that live or work closer to downtown OKC, UCO offers several university core courses at Santa Fe Plaza in addition to being the home of our MBA Program and other master-level courses.

UCO at Carnegie Centre

UCO at Carnegie Centre is located in the heart of downtown Oklahoma City's business district. Whether you work or live downtown or pass by on your way to work or home, this location makes for-credit and continuing education classes easy to access. Day or night, UCO at Carnegie Centre is open for business. Here, you’ll find classes that will work with your busy schedule in a facility that is easy to access no matter the time of day.

Classes focus on both the working professional interested in a graduate degree and expanding sections of popular classes that could fulfill requirements for a variety of majors. 

In addition, businesses can build customized education offerings exclusively for their employees or participate in the non-credit courses available to the public.

Parking for UCO Students

Student Parking

Edmond campus parking permits are not valid at downtown locations.

Each downtown location has parking available. A representative from the location you are attending will contact you with instructions for purchasing a parking permit prior to classes beginning. Please reach out to the location directly for more information.

Pay-by-Plate Parking

On-street parking is available at the individual’s expense and the meters are strictly enforced from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. on weekdays (except public holidays). Rates vary by meter. Information on pay-by-plate.

Shuttle Service to Downtown OKC Classes

A shuttle service is provided by Academic Affairs for no additional fee to UCO students (currently enrolled) and faculty (instructing) for evening class(es) at the Carnegie Centre and Santa Fe Plaza locations.

  • No additional fee;
  • Drops you off at the door; and,
  • No driving in traffic or parking.


For safety: Please note there will be a sign in the window with the official UCO logo as the identifier for the shuttle. It could be a van or bus.

summer 2023 Schedule (May 31-July 28)

The shuttle will depart on Tuesdays and Thursdays from the UCO main campus at 4:40 p.m. and depart from the UCO at Santa Fe Plaza at 9:30 p.m.

Free Citylink Transit

UCO’s Transportation and Parking Services has partnered with the City of Edmond to provide free bus services throughout Edmond and to Downtown OKC. View the Citylink route and schedule.
