The Oklahoma Commission for Teacher Preparation (OCTP) selected the Evaluation Systems group of Pearson to develop and administer the Certification Examinations for Oklahoma Educators™ (CEOE™), which include the Oklahoma General Education Test™ (OGET™), the Oklahoma Professional Teaching Examination™ (OPTE™) and the Oklahoma Subject Area Tests™ (OSAT™). The purpose of the CEOE program is to help ensure that all candidates seeking certification in Oklahoma have the knowledge and skills necessary to perform the job of an entry-level educator in Oklahoma public schools. UCO offers the computer-based CEOE.
To register, visit CEOE. You will need to create an account, pay for the exam, and then select an available day and time.
On Exam Day
- The student must bring to the test center one current, government-issued ID printed in English, in the name in which he or she registered, bearing his or her photograph and signature.
- For non-UCO students, bring money for the visitor parking lot. The kiosks accept credit/debit cards. If you bring cash, please be aware the machines do not distribute change.
- Check-in time will begin 20 minutes before the scheduled time of the exam. Late arrivals will not be admitted.
This list includes, but is not limited to: cell phones, purses, hats, watches, Fitbits, glasses with built-in electronics, or any other electronic devices. If the student arrives at the testing center possessing any of these items, they must present a secondary I.D. (student I.D., club membership card, etc.) bearing the name in which they registered, in addition to their government-issued ID, in order to store them in a locker provided by the testing center.
