UCO has temporarily shifted most in-person classes to synchronous virtual delivery through Jan. 31. Campus facilities and services will remain open and offer in-person and virtual options. COVID-19 protocols remain in place. Masks are required on campus when around others. Students, faculty and staff who are directly exposed to or test positive for COVID-19 should fill out UCO's COVID-19 Self-Reporting form. The University of Central Oklahoma believes that universities have a special role and unique responsibility in confronting the challenges of climate change and environmental stewardship.
UCO is dedicated to confronting these challenges through our core values and through the positive efforts of our Central Community. Here at UCO, we have committed to environmental responsibility both inside and outside the classroom.
Through infrastructure and processes upgrades, the university takes economic and environmental concerns into consideration. Through active programming and academic offerings, we commit to teaching all UCO students about the importance of responsible environmental stewardship and social equity. Solutions are founded in evidence-based research, striving to make the UCO campus and the OKC community a more sustainable place.
