Alternative Transportation
The Department of Transportation and Parking Services encourages and supports alternative modes of transportation. We offer a variety of programs to help reduce your carbon footprint, save you fuel and money, and reduce the hassle of finding parking.
Central Cycle
Central Cycle includes all of the bicycle programs and services offered by Transportation and Parking Services. Services include bicycle rental, bicycle registration, and repair stations around campus.

Public Transit
UCO students are eligible to use the City of Edmond's free public transit system CityLink. This route covers areas surrounding the campus, and directly service many apartment complexes where students live in addition to a Downtown OKC route.

E-Scooters
The City of Edmond has entered a limited partnership with Lime and Bird Scooters to allow the usage of e-scooters within city limits. These scooters are allowed on campus, within the guidelines put forth by the university.
Carpool
With many students traveling to campus alone in vehicles, TPS incentivizes the use of carpools to reduce the number of vehicles parking on campus in an effort to alleviate congestion in the lots. Carpool permits allow students to share the cost of a permit to save money.
Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
TPS has partnered with the City of Edmond to provide free Electronic Vehicle (EV) Charging Stations throughout the city including two on the UCO campus.
