Non-Degree Seeking
What is an Exchange Student?
If you are currently pursuing a bachelor or master’s degree at a university or college that has a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) agreement with the University of Central Oklahoma to allow you to enroll for classes at UCO for one or two semesters and to pay only the tuition and fees to your home university and not to UCO, you are an exchange student. You will be considered a non-degree-seeking student to UCO on a J-1 visa.
What is a Visiting or Study USA Student?
You will only be allowed to be a visiting or study USA student if you are currently pursuing a bachelor's or master’s degree at the university or college that has an official partnership with the University of Central Oklahoma. You will be required to pay tuition and fees to UCO while you are a visiting student in the United States of America. You will be considered a non-degree-seeking student to UCO on a J-1 visa.
