What Do We Do?
The Inclusive Community- Student Hub facilitates meaningful and transformative learning experiences designed to expand awareness, understanding and appreciation for the University of Central Oklahoma’s culturally, ethnically, socially and spiritually diverse campus community. Through workshops, interactive dialogues and activities, the Student Hub fosters inclusive excellence where students find belonging.
Our Mission
The mission of the Inclusive Community- Student Hub is to advance cultural intelligence while implementing opportunities for our Broncho community to learn, thrive and succeed.
Our Goal
The foundational vision of our mission is driven by our focus on four essential areas: Community, Advocacy, Celebration and Education. We call these our C.A.C.E. principles that work together to create brave spaces and a sense of belonging for all students at Central as we continue to work together to advance equity.
Support Us
Our students are exceptional! The programming of this office supports the work and growth of our students. We very much appreciate any contributions you give. Thank you.
Campus and Community Events
Throughout the year the Inclusive Community- Student Hub offers a variety of experiences that allow students, faculty, staff and the metro community to connect with diverse lived experiences and cultures representative of the Broncho Community. Some of these experiences include 2SLGBTQIA+, Native American, Asian and Latinx Heritage Month events; Black History and Women's History Month events; the Asian Moon Festival; the Día De Los Muertos observance event; the Indigenous Peoples Day observance event; the Interfaith Fair; and the annual Powwow.
We hope you will join us as we learn together and celebrate the variety of cultures that call UCO home.
