Fine Arts & Design Community
Creativity is contagious! If you love to perform, create, or design and want to live with like-minded artists this community was designed just for you.
Residents will have the opportunity to learn about other artistic outlets from peers, as well as careers in the arts through involvement with faculty in the College of Fine Arts and Design. Located in The Quad’s “penthouse”, Fine Arts & Design LLC students have the fourth floor to themselves, as well as a Creative Suite designed especially for artists and an exercise room equipped with a ballet bar. Students in this community:
- Enroll in DES 1063: Innovation and Inquiry with others in the LLC
- Participate in events geared towards engaging them in their major and future careers
- Engage in meaningful dialogue about the value of diversity in their creative disciplines
This community is open to freshmen and sophomores and draws a broad conglomerate of majors that include theatre arts, ACM, dance, and graphic design. Space is limited to 40 residents.
