Veterans Upward Bound
Veterans Upward Bound (VUB) programs are funded by the United States Department of Education. VUB is designed to motivate and assist veterans in the development of academic skills necessary for acceptance, and success, in a program of post-secondary education. The primary goal of the program is to increase the rate at which veterans enroll in and complete post-secondary education programs (two-/4-year college or vocational/technical school).
The four-step March college preparatory curriculum, created by the STARS and STRIPES VUB programs at the University of Central Oklahoma, organizes services and needed skills into four easy steps to success for post-secondary entry.
