UCO has temporarily shifted most in-person classes to synchronous virtual delivery through Jan. 31. Campus facilities and services will remain open and offer in-person and virtual options. COVID-19 protocols remain in place. Masks are required on campus when around others. Students, faculty and staff who are directly exposed to or test positive for COVID-19 should fill out UCO's COVID-19 Self-Reporting form. "You're Doing Fine, Central!" 2020 marked UCO's 103rd Homecoming
The Homecoming Activities Board, UCO Alumni Association, UCO Athletics, dedicated student organizations and the Edmond community come together every year to put on one of the biggest celebrations on campus: homecoming! In mid-August 2020, the MIAA announced the cancellation of all fall sports due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Although there will not be an actual game to attend, UCO has decided to move forward with events that looked a little different.
“You’re Doing Fine, Central!” was the 2020 homecoming theme. The statement was designed to connect Bronchos from all over the world during this pandemic and to remember our connections, as well as our love of bronze and blue. For the first time ever, Central alumni and community members engaged with UCO through exciting new virtual events during the week of Sept. 27-Oct. 3, 2020. UCO students looked forward to joining together in a hybrid mix of events during the week, all while raising money to help students in need through the Bronchos Helping Bronchos philanthropy.
