Micro-credential Overview
Earners of this badge have completed UCO's NTRN 3131 - food safety and sanitation academic course and have passed the official ServSafe Certification exam. ServSafe training is designed by foodservice and safety professionals, and it meets the requirements of state and federal laws and regulations. Earners learn the importance of safe handling of food, forms of contaminations, hazards in the flow of food, purchasing, receiving and storage of food, as well as additional topics.
