Micro-credential Overview

Earners of the JavaScript for Front End Web badge have completed UCO's CMSC 5910 Front End Web Programming course. In this course, students will learn how to create interactive web pages using JavaScript. Topics include web page creation using HTML elements and CSS properties, Document Object Model (DOM), dynamic changes of DOM using JavaScript.

What can you do with this micro-credential?

  • Understand basic elements of HTML and CSS properties.
  • Use HTML forms and input elements to interact with the client.
  • Understand basics of JavaScript programming language.
  • Handle events on the web browser.
  • Write JavaScript programs to develop the interactive webpage.

  • Those interested must be enrolled as a student in UCO's CMSC 5910 Front End Web Programming academic course. Registration for this micro-credential is included in the course enrollment.

Cost

  • The micro-credential fee is included in the academic course tuition and fees.
