The Master of Science degree in Applied Mathematical Science – Teaching prepares students to meet the industry, business and governmental demands for experts in applications of mathematical sciences. While ensuring a sound mathematical training, the degree program concentrates on the development of widely applicable intellectual skills and provides experience with concrete problems, with a concentration on teaching.


Courses You'll Take

The Applied Mathematics curriculum includes advanced calculus, operation research, modeling, and statistics and statistical analysis and consulting. The program is designed for those with substantial mathematics and/or computer science background.

  • Differential Equations
  • Statistical Methods I
  • Complete a minimum of three (3) semester hours of English Composition in residence at an accredited college or university in a predominantly English speaking country.
