Spanish Education
Spanish is the official first language of more countries than any other language in the world and the third most spoken language after Mandarin Chinese and English. Knowledge of Spanish offers excellent career opportunities and the travel possibilities are limitless.
Curriculum
Courses in the Spanish Education major include language, grammar, culture and education.
Admission to the Teacher Education Program
Spanish Education majors must apply and be accepted to the Teacher Education Program in order to be eligible to take professional teacher education courses and to graduate with an education degree from UCO. Admission to the Teacher Education Program is separate from admission to the University of Central Oklahoma.
