Public Administration
Majors in political science, including Public Administration, offer a solid undergraduate education in the liberal arts and sciences. Such study prepares the graduate for a variety of careers by emphasizing the acquisition of skills in communication and analysis; and by encouraging independent thought, tolerance and informed interest in current affairs.
Curriculum
Public Administration courses include economics, government, policy, politics and some aspects of finance.
Student Organizations
The Political Science program has various organizations that help to support and involve Political Science majors throughout their education, including involvement in the Oklahoma Intercollegiate Legislature, College Republicans, Young Democrats, a chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha and membership to the Oklahoma Political Science Association.
