French Education
The Modern Language Education program serves as a catalyst for French education, as well as the creation of community events and activities to promote cross-cultural and cross-disciplinary understanding, communication, and analysis.
Curriculum
The French section of the Department of Modern Languages offers general introductions to the French language and Francophone cultures, as well as advanced study for the training of teachers, scholars and other professionals.
Admission to the Teacher Education Program
French Education majors must apply and be accepted to the Teacher Education Program in order to be eligible to take professional teacher education courses and to graduate with an education degree from UCO. Admission to the Teacher Education Program is separate from admission to the University of Central Oklahoma.
