Applied Liberal Arts
The Applied Liberal Arts program is a unique Bachelor of Arts degree and represents a broad interdisciplinary approach to undergraduate education, bringing together in one program the liberal arts and selected courses in business. This field of study centers around "real-world" experiences and flexible areas of focus.
The Applied Liberal Arts major is structured to provide students with career options and the ability to adapt easily to a world in which career changes are occurring with increasing frequency.
There are various student organizations and clubs on campus that support extra-curricular interests for Applied Liberal Arts majors. These include UCO Medieval Society, Symposium of Philosophy and Chess and Games Club.
