The major part of the Studio Art program consists of studio work and includes instruction in the principles of design and the use of various media. Students examine influencing and prevailing social issues, and study how to reflect the energy of contemporary society. Take a look at the required courses for this program!
The BFA program emphasizes dedicated studio work and the advanced use of a variety of media. Students examine prevailing social, cultural and personal interest that are reflected in the energy and contemporary nature of their work. Students' art is a manifestation of their individual identity and conceptual research. Taken in combination with lectures and seminars in Global Arts and Visual Culture a link to both historical cultures and contemporary means of expression is emphasized.
