The Studio Art major within the Art program consists of studio work and includes instruction in the principles of design and the use of various media. Curriculum
The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art emphasizes dedicated studio work and the advanced use of a variety of media. Students examine prevailing social, cultural and personal interest that are reflected in the energy and contemporary nature of their work. Students' art is a manifestation of their individual identity and conceptual research. Taken in combination with lectures and seminars in Global Arts and Visual Culture a link to both historical cultures and contemporary means of expression is emphasized.
