Wind majors at the University of Central Oklahoma have many opportunities to perform and collaborate. Participation in ensembles, including the Wind Symphony, Symphonic Band, Jazz Ensembles, Symphony Orchestra, chamber ensembles and jazz combos will enable students to become confident and expressive musical performers. Private study with our world-class faculty will challenge students and help them to develop the skills necessary to succeed in this competitive field. Students will also study music theory, music history, literature, pedagogy, arts management, piano, conducting and perform two solo recitals.
