Important Update:

The University of Central Oklahoma physical campus will be closed to all but essential employees through May 31.
Alternative instructional delivery methods will be used for the rest of the spring semester, May intersession courses and summer blocks I and II. Many university services will continue to be available online. For more information, visit the university's COVID-19 website.

Percussion majors at the University of Central Oklahoma have many opportunities to perform and collaborate varied styles of music, whether classical, jazz or popular.  Participation in ensembles, including the Wind Symphony, Symphonic Band, Marching Band, Symphony Orchestra, Jazz Ensembles, Percussion Consort, jazz combos, and pit orchestras will enable students to become confident and expressive musical performers. Private study with talented faculty will challenge students and help them to develop the skills necessary to succeed in this competitive field. Students will also study music theory, music history, literature, pedagogy, arts management, piano, conducting and perform two recitals.
