Important Update:

Patrons are encouraged to check back regularly as hours and procedures are updated. 

Wellness Center

Open June 15 to students, faculty, and staff. Open July 1 to the public. 


Hours of Operation

Monday-Friday: 7 a.m. -1:00 p.m.. and 2:00 p.m..-7:00 p.m.

Saturday and Sunday: Closed

The Wellness Center will close for one hour daily for deep cleaning of all equipment. 

 Guidelines and Expectations

  • Patrons will be required to wear masks when interacting with others in an environment that does not accommodate social distancing.
  •  No guests will be permitted. Facility use will only be for patrons until further notice.
  •  Everyone who enters the building will have their temperature taken and anyone with a registered temperature of 100.4 will not be permitted in the building.
  • Patrons must maintain a minimum of 6 feet distance from one another.
  • Please adhere to all signage posted for everyone’s safety.
  • Patrons must disinfect equipment before and after use.
  • Patrons must wash hands before and after working out with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
  • Capacity will be limited in all areas of the Department of Wellness and Sport.
  • Locker rooms will be open, social distancing will be required.
  • Elevator will be limited to one person at a time.
  • Water fountains are for use ONLY to fill water bottles, no drinking directly from the fountain.
  • No organized sports will not be permitted.
  • Remember the 3 C’s to help stop the spread of COVID-19, Influenza and other illnesses:
    • COVER – cough (or sneeze) into the crook of your elbow or into a tissue that is immediately thrown away.
    • CLEAN – frequently wash your hands with warm water and soap for 20 seconds.
    • CONTAIN – Stay home when you are sick until you have been free of fever.

Outdoor Adventure Recreation

Open  by appointment only.   Hours of operation are adjusted weekly based on weather. 

Hours of Operation

Guidelines and Expectations

  • Open for paddle sports (kayak/stand up paddle boards) and mountain bikes only.
  • The ropes course, classroom, and bay will remain closed. 
  • Reservations are required. Please call 405-974-3143.
  • Masks are  required.
  • No group events are allowed at this time.

OU Physicians Health and Wellness Clinic

Open June 1 by appointment only. 

Hours of Operations

Monday-Friday: 8 a.m.-5 p.m..

Guidelines and Expectations

  • All aspects of physical distancing and masking at all times will be observed.
  • Please call ahead to schedule an appointment at 271-8261 or 271-UCO1.
  • In order to minimize exposure risk walk-in patients will not be accepted.
  • Same day appointments will continue to to be offered  based upon availability.
  • Telemedicine will be implemented and utilized whenever possible to provide convenient appointments.
  • Wellness and Preventative Visits will be grouped at a different time than Sick Visits.
  • Terminal cleaning procedures of exam rooms will be implemented in between each visit.
  • Extensive cleaning of commonly touched surfaces will be conducted several times a day throughout the clinic.
  • When you arrive for your appointment please call from your car to check in.  You will need to wait in your car until you are called back.  Accommodations will be made for those who intend to walk to the clinic.  Please notify us when scheduling your appointment if you will not be driving.
  • No visitors allowed during visit.  If the patient is a minor, one parent or guardian may accompany patient during visit.
