In the Office of Student Advocacy, we help students who start at UCO, finish at UCO no matter their point of entry. Some students have a straight path to graduation, but others have to maneuver hurdles like finances, family, or academic setbacks. Either way, a Student Advocate can help students find a path to academic and personal success!
We know many students face problems that may take more than one brain to solve. Our Student Advocates work closely with many different offices on campus to make sure students know their options and can make informed decisions about their futures.
Here are just some of the ways we help students:
- Money coaching, including personal budgeting and financial aid.
- Developing strategies for academic success.
- Troubleshooting enrollment issues.
- Returning to UCO to complete their degrees.
- Finding the right campus resources.
