As part of the university's ongoing safety initiatives, the Rave Guardian app has been introduced as part of the safety initiatives in place across campus. User information is validated through the same database that serves the Central Alert notification system. The customized app allows UCOPD to connect with the campus community wherever they are on campus, directly providing emergency assistance with the touch of a button. 

This free app provides several tools users can use to enhance their safety, including:

  • Create a network of personal Guardians and never travel alone again;
  • Set up safety timers that notifies Guardians if you haven't arrived at your destination;
  • Send text message crime tips directly and confidentially;
  • Call 9-1-1 or UCOPD with one-button call buttons;
  • Share your real-time GPS location with Guardians or UCOPD when activated;
  • And establish a personal profile with information Guardians will need in an emergency.

  3. Set up your account

Non-University Affiliated Users

If you are selected as a Guardian and are not affiliated with UCO, please follow these instructions:

  1. Download Rave Guardian from your mobile device's app store
  2. Leave "school email" blank and continue to register with a personal email address
  3. Set up your account
