Impact Campus Safety
Get involved with the University of Central Oklahoma Office of Equal Opportunity and make a positive impact on the safety and inclusive excellence of our community. We have several ways you can connect with us. Support a student by volunteering as a Title IX procedural adviser or decision-maker; join the Title IX Advisory Board to assist with determining and meeting campus needs; or, serve the metro community with us during one of our regularly scheduled volunteer projects.
Title IX Process Volunteer
Faculty and staff are encouraged to serve as decision-makers and/or procedural advisers. Advisers assist the involved party throughout the case by advising on the process and preparing for/participating in the hearing. Decision-makers serve on a panel to decide the outcome of a case by reviewing evidence and asking questions of the involved parties.
Required Training
All Title IX investigators working in the UCO Offices of Student Conduct and Title IX and all UCO faculty and staff who serve as decision-makers for Title IX hearings have completed the Sexual Misconduct and Title IX Hearing Panelist Training.
Title IX Advisory Board Member
Self-nominate or nominate another faculty, staff or student to serve on the Title IX Advisory Board. The purpose of the board is to meet regularly with the core members of the Title IX team to discuss programming plans, share information and brainstorm ideas to better the educational processes of the Title IX program.
