Important Update:

UCO requires all students, employees and visitors to wear a mask on campus when around others, both indoors and outdoors, and practice physical distancing of at least six feet when possible. If you or someone you know has COVID-19 symptoms, has been directly exposed to COVID-19 or has tested positive, fill out UCO's COVID-19 Self-Reporting form. To learn more about current operations, view the university's coronavirus webpage. View a list of UCO's virtual services.

The university surplus operation is the only method for the proper disposal of university-owned property. Items in good working condition can be sent to surplus with signed approval by the department org manager on the appropriate forms and picked up at a date and time coordinated with the surplus property coordinator.

Surplus Property Form

University employees can view the inventory of the surplus warehouse during normal business hours between 8;15 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. - 2 p.m.  Items that fit the needs of university offices can be utilized free of charge. To inquire about specific items or to make an appointment to visit the showroom, email, call 405-974-2247, or submit a Work Order Request.

Surplus items cannot be given away, donated, or sold to individuals outside of the public auction process.

Public Auctions of Surplus Property

UCO property deemed obsolete or excess to the needs of a department or the university, and for which no utilization opportunity exists on campus, may be sold at auction. Most surplus property is transferred to the Oklahoma State Surplus where it is sold at public auction. UCO also conducts quarterly or more frequent auctions of its surplus items on Public Surplus or Purple Wave. Auctions of UCO surplus property are open to all faculty, staff, and students, with a share of the proceeds going to the originating department.

Items will be listed as they come available.
