The University of Central Oklahoma's Jackson College of Graduate Studies (JCGS) hosted its fifth annual Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition. Contestants must demonstrate the value of their master's research to a panel of business community members in three minutes or less, using only one presentation slide. The Jackson College of Graduate Studies seeks to retain, recognize, and engage exceptional existing graduate students across all degree programs through offering one-time graduate student partial tuition waivers. Only students who have been admitted to the Jackson College of Graduate Studies, who are in their first year of graduate study, and who are existing full-time graduate students may apply. To be eligible, existing UCO graduate students must have an overall graduate GPA of 3.70 or higher and be willing to honor a commitment to serve on the Graduate Student Advisory Board, which meets once in the fall and spring semesters.
