College of Education and Professional Studies

Welcome to UCO! We are glad you’re here and have decided to be a part of the College of Education and Professional Studies. As an Education major it is critical that you  pay attention to prerequisites. Prerequisites are those courses that are required to be taken prior to taking another course. Make sure you pay attention to your mathematics and modern language requirements for your specific degree -- you don't want to put them off! Also, be sure to watch your GPA! In most of the majors in the College of Education, you are required to have a 2.75 overall GPA in all your college coursework, in your UCO course work, and all major coursework for most majors in the College of Education.
