Important Update:

The University of Central Oklahoma physical campus will be closed to all but essential employees beginning at 5 p.m. Thursday, March 26, through at least April 15. UCO will transition to alternative instructional delivery methods from March 28 through the end of the spring semester. Many university services will continue to be available online. UCO will extend spring break by one week, March 23-27, for students only and will transition to alternative instructional delivery methods beginning March 30 through the remainder of the spring semester.

All university-related events of any size have been canceled or postponed for the remainder of the spring semester.

Any changes will be communicated immediately via Central Alert, social media, email, the UCO website and UCONNECT.

What UCO is Doing:

  • UCO’s Office of Emergency Management and Crisis Management Team are coordinating in real time according to UCO's pandemic plan and taking proactive action to respond and prepare.
  • UCO is following recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Oklahoma Department of Health, and the Oklahoma City/County Health Department.
  • Consistent with governmental action designed to slow the spread of the virus, the UCO physical campus will close to all but essential employees at 5 p.m., Thursday, March 26 through at least April 15.  Learn more about resources at the Continuing Services website.
