Summer 2020 Reopening Plan
The university begins its phased reopening Monday, June 1. To guide our return to campus, please take a moment to review the Summer 2020 Reopening Plan and refer to it when considering an interaction with another office or department or advising others on access to university services. The document includes an overarching plan for campus drafted by the COVID-19 Response Task Force and approved by the University Cabinet, including requirements for wearing face masks when interacting with others in an environment where social distancing is not possible, sanitization and cleaning and self-monitoring of health, as well as the operating plans for individual offices and departments.
Note that the majority of campus facilities will remain closed to the public through the month of June. It is recommended that services continue to be offered virtually or by appointment only if in person. Several offices are also restricting access to appointment-only visits.
These plans are subject to review and change as the university continues to monitor conditions surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic in the area. The university will follow recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Oklahoma State Department Health and the Oklahoma City County Health Department.
Reopening plans for the fall 2020 semester are ongoing and will be released at a later date.
