Students who are officially majoring in the College of Mathematics and Science (CMS) programs are eligible to apply for CMS scholarships.

CMS has approximately 60 scholarships with more than $250,000 awarded to students annually.  These scholarships are awarded to excellent students in their field. Generous donors, both alumni and friends of CMS, are responsible for these wonderful scholarships. Several scholarships honor a loved one or friend that made a significant difference in the donors lives.

Heisenberg Uncertainty Fund Scholarship

The CMS Heisenberg Uncertainty Fund was created to help students studying mathematics and science overcome the constraints of financial need through flexible student financial aid. Students may apply for emergency aid for expenses not funded by traditional student support. Tuition and fees are not covered through this scholarship. The deadline for applications each semester is one week prior to the start of the semester, however, under extenuating circumstances, applications may be accepted and reviewed after the deadline.  Amounts of awards will vary based on demonstrated need and the number of awards granted each semester is subject to the availability of funds.
