The Actuarial Science Program at the University of Central Oklahoma is the only such program in the state of Oklahoma. The course of study was originally designed by Actuaries at American Fidelity Assurance Co. in Oklahoma City. The focus of the degree program is to give students a strong analytical background i the areas of mathematics and statistics as well as the actuarial-specific topics such as Theory of Interest and Mathematics of Life Contingencies.
