Important Update:
UCO has temporarily shifted most in-person classes to synchronous virtual delivery through Feb. 7. Campus facilities and services will remain open and offer in-person and virtual options. COVID-19 protocols remain in place. Masks are required on campus when around others. Students, faculty and staff who are directly exposed to or test positive for COVID-19 should fill out UCO's COVID-19 Self-Reporting form. To learn more about current operations, view the university's coronavirus webpage.
Alumni and Friends
Connecting to Alumni
If you graduated with a B.S., B.A., or M.S. in biology from UCO, we want to hear from you!

Contact Melville Vaughan, Ph.D., biology department interim chairperson, with your information. We would like to include your updates/activities in Bioluminescence, the biology department's annual newsletter. You may also update your information with the UCO Alumni Association.
Support the Department of Biology
There are many areas within the biology department where your gift can have a significant impact for our students and faculty. Your donation can either establish a new scholarship or sustain an existing one. It can support state-of-the-art equipment, technology and facilities for our students and faculty. Private gifts can enhance our undergraduate research programs, providing opportunities for students to conduct research alongside biology faculty.
To make a gift to the UCO Department of Biology, contact Tara Simmons, director of Development.
