Prepare for a Career with Meaning!

Submit your information and you will be contacted about possible opportunities.

What aspects of your daily life are not influenced by politics and laws?

The study of politics is both humanistic and scientific and is centuries old. Aristotle called it the "queen of the sciences." Here at UCO, we merge the science of politics with the human experience. Our Political Science Department is a community of theoretical and logical scholars from all across the political spectrum. Engage with our professors and other students in a scholarly debate that enables critical thinking.

The American Constitution joins political theory with the pragmatic formation of political American Flaginstitutions and practices. Our political research involves scientific and rigorous attempts to understand human behavior and world events. Studying political science here in the College of Liberal Arts prepares students not only for employment, but for life as an informed citizen ready to participate in political activities or political parties, community organization, a career in law or legal matters, informed political advocacy, or even serve as an elected or appointed official.

Interact with fellow political science scholars and connect with university faculty by attending one of our upcoming events.
