"Defining Home" Photography Contest
Call for Entries:
The Woody Gaddis Gallery, on the campus of the University of Central Oklahoma, seeks entries for the juried photographic exhibition entitled “Defining Home”. Home has many emotional, biological, cultural and societal associations beyond the physical space in which we live. Any interpretation of this concept captured or created through the visual medium of photography is open for submission.
Deadlines:October 20: Digital Submission Due
October 23: Selections will be made and artists notified
November 15: Physical Submissions Due
Nov. 25 - Jan. 6: Defining Home Exhibition
January 13: Submissions mailed back to artist

Up to three submissions of photographic work including traditional darkroom, digital, alternative process, and manipulated images. Images should be resolution 72 ppi and 1280 pixels on the longest side; Flattened JPG files; 8 bit files; RGB or Grayscale; JPG compression quality 8 or medium. Files should be titled “LastName_FirstName_01Title.jpg”. Submissions must be submitted to Dropbox by Sunday, Oct. 20th at 11:59pm. Submit files and entry form using the "SUBMIT YOUR PHOTOS" link
All images selected for exhibition must be printed and framed or mounted professionally for the exhibition, and should arrive ready to hang on the wall. Physical prints must be received by Friday, November 15th at 4:00pm. Submissions may be picked up by artist in person after exhibition or will be mailed back to artist on January 13th. Artist must provide return postage & packaging.

Artists retain full rights to their work. By submitting to the Woody Gaddis Gallery, artists grant the use of selected images for the purpose of marketing the gallery and subsequent display on its website.
