Broadway Tonight's mission is to enlighten and enrich both students and the community by integrating student arts programming with professional artists to create exceptional cultural and educational offerings. Broadway Tonight is known for bringing high profile talent to the Oklahoma City metro and is supported, in part, by the Oklahoma Arts Council, which receives support from the State of Oklahoma and the National Endowment for the Arts.
The Broadway Tonight series brings top performing artists in the industry to Central to perform and work with music and dance students. This year, Broadway Tonight will partner with UCO's Musical Theatre division to produce the hit musical, Grease in late September, early October. Then, legendary recording artist Marilyn Maye will open the regular Broadway Tonight season Nov. 1 at the CHK|Central Boathouse, followed by Tony Award winner Faith Prince Jan. 24, 2020, the all-male repertory dance company 10 Hairy Legs Feb. 14, 2020 and Broadway leading lady Rebecca Luker March 6, 2020.

Legendary recording artist Marilyn Maye shares her unparalleled vocal stylings and proves why she reigns as NYC’s Queen of Cabaret.
Now 91, Ms. Maye will be reviving songs she’s sung since the 50’s and bringing you an evening filled with the best of Ms. Maye over the years. This will be an event you do not want to miss!

We are thrilled to welcome 10 Hairy Legs, an all-male repertory dance company performing exquisite works from some of the most well-known choreographers in modern dance today. The company strives to advance the understanding of the male role in dance through the creation, acquisition and performance of exceptional work. 10 Hairy Legs will be joined onstage by UCO’s award-winning Kaleidoscope Dancers.
