Important Update:

UCO has temporarily shifted most in-person classes to synchronous virtual delivery through Jan. 31. Campus facilities and services will remain open and offer in-person and virtual options. COVID-19 protocols remain in place. Masks are required on campus when around others. Students, faculty and staff who are directly exposed to or test positive for COVID-19 should fill out UCO's COVID-19 Self-Reporting form. To learn more about current operations, view the university's coronavirus webpage.

The School of Music at the University of Central Oklahoma has a history of artistic excellence and dedication to music education. In addition to being the first college chartered in Oklahoma, UCO is the only university in the state with an enrollment between 10,000 and 20,000 students. With a university student population around 17,000, the School of Music faculty and students fill a vital role as creative and cultural leaders on campus. Our school and university community are large enough to provide a multitude of performance opportunities in a variety of ensembles and groups, but the School of Music is still a comfortable environment. Students and faculty establish a warm rapport with one another and the performance atmosphere is supportive and encouraging.
