Mentor Teacher Qualifications

Strong mentor teachers are those who are not only strong, experienced teachers, but also strong mentors and leaders. They are teachers who:

  • Are fully certified
  • Have three years of successful teaching experience
  • Love teaching
  • Are dedicated
  • Are flexible
  • Are willing to share
  • Are willing to work productively and collaboratively with colleagues and teacher candidates
