Dr. Roy C. Rowland joined the speech-language pathology program as faculty in 1980 and served in the program until his passing in May 2003.  He loved teaching and often expressed concern for the needs of graduate students who must complete demanding internships during their final year. These scholarships are made available to UCO speech-language pathology graduate students who will be completing public school or medical setting internships during the upcoming academic year. Selection of applicants is based on academic merit, clinical ability, and financial need. To donate to this scholarship, please visit the Roy C. Rowland Memorial Fund.

Dr. Scott F. McLaughlin, Professor Emeritus, was instrumental in fostering, developing and building the speech-language program during his tenure at UCO. Dr. McLaughlin created the Scott F. McLaughlin Endowed Scholarship to support especially strong, deserving students who are either entering or continuing in the graduate program. His support of our program continues from year to year through this generous gift. To donate to this scholarship, please visit the Scott F. McLaughlin Endowed Scholarship in Speech-Language Pathology Fund.
