Serving your country as an Army Officer is an honor and a privilege. Don't let paying for college get in the way. UCO Army ROTC has two, three and four-year full-tuition scholarships available for qualified students. Each scholarship also includes a monthly stipend (allowance) between $300-500 and a $1,200-year book allowance.

Don’t need to pay tuition? A scholarship can be used for Room and Board instead, up to $10,000  a year plus a monthly stipend (allowance) between $300-500 and a $1,200-year book allowance.

To qualify for a scholarship, students must be enrolled in the Army ROTC program at UCO and be a full-time student at UCO, Southern Nazarene University, Oklahoma Christian University, Oklahoma City University, Southwestern Christian University or Langston University.  Full-time students attending local junior colleges must have completed at least 30 credit hours and transfer to a four-year school before beginning the ROTC advanced course and applying for a scholarship.

Qualifications

  • U.S. citizen
  • Cumulative college GPA of at least 2.5
  • Physically and medically qualified
  • Possess good moral character

If you are a current member of the Oklahoma National Guard or the U.S. Army Reserves, you are not eligible for STEM or campus-based scholarships.  However, you may be eligible for the Guaranteed Reserve Forces Duty (GRFD) or Dedicated GRFD scholarship.
