Eighth Annual UCO Army ROTC Gold Bar 5K

Unfortunately, we made the decision to postpone our 8th Annual UCO Army ROTC Gold Bar 5K Run.  We plan to reschedule it for the fall 2020 semester, sometime during the October-November time period. This decision was made after careful consideration for our runners’ and support teams’ safety due to concerns from the recent outbreak of the Coronavirus, COVID-19, and published mitigation measures outlined by federal, state, local and university mandates. 

For our current sponsors and registered racers, we thank you for your support of our Broncho Battalion Student Association. The purpose of our race is to celebrate UCO and the Army ROTC Broncho Battalion’s partnership – a partnership that began in 1969 and continues to grow strong today! We appreciate your commitment to helping us provide leadership development opportunities for our ROTC cadets outside the classroom environment and we apologize for any disruption our race postponement may cause you, the racer or your organizations. 

As soon as we lock in our new race date in the fall, we will contact you. In the meantime, we would love to have your continued support for our race. If you are a current race sponsor, we would still appreciate your support. If you are a registered racer and choose to race with us in the fall, we will honor your registration.   

We will continue to leave our race registration site up and running. We will also continue to update our this website with race information as we get closer to our new date in fall 2020.  Thank you again for your support and commitment to our Army ROTC Broncho Battalion Cadets.
