Dedicated Finance Faculty
The Finance Department emphasizes effective teaching and student involvement in the learning process. Select full-time finance faculty members regularly set aside time to function as tutors for any student with questions about any finance course material. Our faculty is dedicated to providing superior teaching and individual attention to students.
Finance Degree Programs
The Finance Department offers four degree programs leading to the Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree.
Finance Major
The finance program prepares students to work with investments, banking, corporate finance, insurance and real estate. The program emphasizes effective teaching and student involvement in the learning process.
FINANCE PROGRAM DETAILSGeneral Business Major
The general business major provides broad business education for students who do not have a preference or need for a specific business major. Students will receive a strong background in the core business curriculum.
GENERAL BUSINESS PROGRAM DETAILSInsurance and Risk Management Major
The insurance and risk management program merges specializations in finance, insurance and mathematics. Students learn the skills to work in the areas of actuarial sciences, risk management and insurance.
INSURANCE AND RISK MANAGEMENT PROGRAM DETAILSBusiness Law Major
The business law program is designed for students wishing to pursue a career in law. Students majoring in business law will learn from dedicated faculty the laws of business organizations, commercial transactions and the legal issues within business.
