Accreditation
The University of Central Oklahoma College of Business is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
The distinction, which is the symbol of business education excellence, places the college in an elite group. Less than five percent of business schools worldwide have earned the accrediting body’s accreditation.
AACSB-accredited schools have successfully undergone a rigorous review process conducted by their peers in the business education community, ensuring that they have the resources, credentials and commitment needed to provide students with a first-rate, future-focused business education.
During this multiyear process, the school focuses on developing and implementing a plan to align with AACSB’s accreditation standards. These standards require excellence in areas relating to: strategic management and innovation; student, faculty, and staff as active participants; learning and teaching; and academic and professional engagement.
Today, there are 789 institutions across 53 countries and territories that maintain AACSB accreditation. Similarly, 186 institutions maintain an additional specialized AACSB accreditation for their accounting programs.
Founded in 1916, AACSB is the longest serving global accrediting body for business schools, and the largest business education network connecting students, educators and businesses worldwide.
