Sophia was born in Louisiana but as she grew up, moved around the country to places like Texas, New Jersey, and finally Arkansas where she attended and finished high school in Little Rock. Sophia then moved back to her roots to attend Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Psychology, Sociology, and Music. After graduating from LSU (GEAUX TIGERS!), Sophia moved to Fort Worth, Texas where she attended Texas Wesleyan University and earned her Master of Arts in Professional Counseling. While earning her Master’s degree, Sophia met her husband, Ted, and relocated to Oklahoma!
During her experience in graduate school, Sophia developed a love for getting to know people in order to help lead them in the right life direction—which led her to a position in higher education at the University of Central Oklahoma (Roll ‘Chos!).
Sophia enjoys spending time with her husband, Ted, and dogs, Vinny and Louise when she is not working. She also loves music and strongly believes in the Arts and the power that it has on people—it is the one thing that unites people from all over the world!
