Important Update:

Through Jan. 28, the university is operating at Level 2. For classes, this means faculty will have the discretion to choose a fully remote, hybrid, extended classroom or fully in-person format. Masks will be mandatory for in-person classes.

The Research Advisory Council is charged with the following responsibilities:

  • To encourage and support research, creative and scholarly activities at UCO;
  • To improve communication about research, creative and scholarly activities within the UCO community;
  • To provide a feedback mechanism for UCO faculty and students to present questions and concerns about research, creative and scholarly activities to the Office of Research & Sponsored Programs; and.
  • To review and recommend changes in research policy and procedures at UCO.

 The RAC is composed of the following representatives:

  • Two representatives from each college who serve a three-year term;
  • One representative from the Controller's Office;
  • One representative from the Faculty Senate;
  • One representative from the AAUP - UCO;
  • One representative from the Office of Research Compliance;
  • One representative from the Office of High Impact Practices and;
  • One representative from the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs.
