Our Mission

The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs promotes transformational learning through its support of research, creative and scholarly activities at UCO.

Research enhances critical thinking skills and provides hands-on experience for students entering the job market or advanced degree programs. The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs coordinates and administers a variety of opportunities for faculty & students to be involved in research, creative and scholarly activities.

Oklahoma Research Day 2023 registration and abstract submission portal is now open.

The Faculty On-Campus Grant Program encourages a continuum of research, creative, and scholarly activities by faculty at UCO with the intent of providing funding for faculty members to develop research projects with internal funds. The deadline for applications is February 15, 2023. For application instructions and more information, click the button below.

The goal of the Intent to Submit (ITS) Form is to inform all appropriate individuals of your plans to submit an external grant to an outside agency. The form will also allow the Office of Research & Sponsored Programs to provide you with grant and budget development assistance. We recommend submission of this form a minimum of 5 weeks prior to submission.

Intent to Submit
The Office of Research & Sponsored Programs (ORSP) oversees all aspects of the pre-award grant process to federal, state, and local agencies, with the exception of agencies that require a 501(c)(3) nonprofit status to apply.
