The University of Central Oklahoma is an institution dedicated to truth in pursuit of knowledge through research activities and to the transmission of knowledge through teaching.  All at UCO share this dedication to scientific integrity.  When a member of our community disregards the accepted norms of scientific inquiry, the entire community is diminished. If you are in knowledge of research behavior that is not appropriate we ask that you report such in order to make the research activities here at UCO stronger. To report a problem please send an email to with as many details as you can offer. The name of the individual that reports the problem will not be shared. Once received, the Office of Research Integrity and Compliance will conduct and inquiry and, if necessary, an investigation in concert with the UCO IRB, UCO IACUC, Office of Research & Sponsored Programs, General Counsel at UCO, and any other necessary departments on campus as needed. Findings will be delivered to the appropriate offices for determinations up to and including sanctions and termination.

If it is found that allegations of professional misconduct are i) false and ii) maliciously motivated or based on fraudulent evidence or otherwise brought in bad faith, the Dean may take appropriate disciplinary action against those responsible.
