Step 1: Decide on an offering
View the Micro-credential Marketplace to see what we currently offer. Be sure to check back often, as new offerings are added regularly.
All micro-credential offering and enrollment questions should be directed to the contact person listed on the individual offering page.
Step 2: Register for your micro-credential offering
Enrollment/registration processes vary by offering. To register for your desired micro-credential, visit the specific offering page where you will find full registration directions.
Step 3: Complete the requirements to earn the micro-credential
Each micro-credential offering has unique content and assessments that you must complete in order to earn the digital badge.
You will learn more about these specifics once you’ve registered and begin the offering.
Step 4: Showcase your badge
Once you complete all of the requirements for your selected micro-credential, you will be awarded a digital badge. Digital badges are credentials that you own, so you can decide how you want to share them. This information along with instructions on how to use your digital badge will be sent to the email you used to register for the micro-credential. Share your new digital badge on your social media platforms, LinkedIn, professional resumes, portfolios and more.
What is a Micro-credential?
Micro-credentials provide new opportunities to demonstrate specific knowledge, skills and abilities in ways that create a more complete picture of your capabilities. Upon successful completion and verification of the micro-credential requirements, you will be issued a digital badge that can be displayed and verified online, such as on resumes or professional social media profiles. Digital micro-credentials can provide another way to demonstrate your achievement of competencies and allows you to clearly communicate your capabilities to others.
