In its 12th year, the Administrative Support Professionals’ Academy is designed to provide administrative support professionals with tools to enhance their performance and bring significance to their roles. The program is aimed at administrative assistants, executive assistants, office managers, secretaries and support staff.

From Lockdown to Leveling Up

This one-day academy—“From Lockdown to Leveling Up”—will give you the tools you need to 1) self-reflect on your needs, insecurities and hopes; 2) resolve conflict; and, 3) have the courage to overcome any obstacle or pursue any purpose.

You’ll experience an interactive and dynamic day filled with personal insights and applicable skills that will improve your relationships at work and increase your confidence in yourself.

Morgan pulls from research, personal experience, case studies, and laugh-out-loud commentary to help you better understand yourself and how you relate to others. 

About the Presenter

Meg Myers Morgan, Ph.D., is an award-winning author, college professor and certified executive coach. Her latest book, "Everything is Negotiable" (Seal Press, 2018)--based on her notable TEDx Talk--is a best-seller and has been translated into multiple languages.  Meg holds a Ph.D. and an MPA from the University of Oklahoma and is certified in executive coaching from Columbia University. She is an assistant professor at the University of Oklahoma and leads the graduate programs in public administration and nonprofit management on the OU-Tulsa campus.

  • 9 – 9:30 a.m. – Setting Expectations: For Yourself; For the Day
  • 9:30 -10:15 a.m. – Personal Audit and Inventory


  • 10:30 – 11 a.m. – Where Conflict Shows Up and What It Does to You
  • 11 a.m. - noon  – Conflict Resolution Wheel (CRW) Simulation

Noon – Lunch  UCO – Heritage Room, Room 326


  • 1 p.m. - Meeting resumes - UCO - Will Rogers Room, Room 421
  • 1 – 1:45 p.m. – Group Break Out Activity


  • 2 – 2:30 p.m. – Process Over Perfection
  • 2:30 – 2:45 p.m. – Overcoming Imposture Syndrome
  • 2:45 – 3 p.m. – “Mentally Checking Out”

3 p.m. - Adjourn


  • Early-bird registration fee: $225.00 includes parking and lunch, ends 11:59 p.m. Jan. 28, 2022
  • Regular registration fee: $325.00 includes parking and lunch, Jan. 29, 2022 – April 27, 2022.
