UCO requires all students, faculty, staff and visitors to wear a mask on campus when around others, both indoors and outdoors, and practice physical distancing of at least six feet when possible. If you or someone you know has COVID-19 symptoms, has been directly exposed to COVID-19 or has tested positive, fill out UCO's COVID-19 Self-Reporting form. If a student believes the practices and procedures used to determine his / her final grade were not consistently and /or accurately followed, the student may have the ability to have his /her appeal considered by the Board of Academic Appeals (BAA).

It is important to make note of the deadlines for academic appeals. All appeals must be filed within the first four weeks of the next semester (fall, spring and summer) immediately following the semester in which the appealed action occurred with the exception of grades appealed for the spring semester. A spring appeal must be filed no later than 5:00 p.m., the Friday of the fourth week of the following fall semester.

A student should familiarize themselves with the Academic Grade Appeal Procedures and then can go through the Academic Grade Appeals Packet to complete all items necessary to file a Academic Grade Appeal.
