Academic Affairs

The Office of Academic Affairs promotes and supports the mission of the University of Central Oklahoma.  Academic Affairs is responsible for supporting the work of the faculty, whose teaching, research, and scholarship brings the academic program to life.  Academic Affairs oversees: the university curriculum and new curricular initiatives; academic policies and procedures; faculty hiring and promotion; support for faculty research and teaching; and the administration of all academic departments and programs, the library, and offices within the division of Academic Affairs.  

Our focus is to help you learn by providing transformative experiences. Here at UCO, in downtown OKC at UCO Carnegie Centre, UCO Santa Fe Plaza and or the Academy of Contemporary Music in Bricktown, there are numerous opportunities to explore different interests, and develop and refine your lifelong learning skills and habits. UCO provides opportunities to develop leadership abilities, support research, creative and scholarly activities, foster connections with the community and world and encourage self-awareness and a healthy lifestyle. These qualities will prepare students to become a productive, creative, ethical and engaged citizen and leader.
