Cross Training Central

Cross Training Central or "The Yard" provides students, employees and Wellness Center members with an outdoor recreational area designed for functional fitness training. "The Yard" is located east of the Wellness Center on the outdoor court and by Rock' N Central (outdoor climbing wall). "The Yard" is staffed by Wellness Center employees who can assist participants with functional training exercises.

"The Yard" is currently closed for the winter season.

  • Agility Ladder Speed and Coordination Drills
  • Tire Flip Strength and Functional Training
  • Plyometric Box Jumping
  • Power Training Ropes
  • Plated Weight Training
  • Kettlebell Training


  • Monday - Thursday: 7:30 - 10:30 a.m.; 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
  • Friday: 7:30 - 10:30 a.m.; 5:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.
  • Saturday: 8 a.m. - noon
  • Sunday: Closed
